J R Raysin will be the featured artist at Gallery One on First Friday, March 1.
Her work will be featured throughout the month. She will also demonstrate using various inks to
create a fine art rendering.
Her inspiration comes from the love of creatures and nature, the intricacy of textures
and an unusual perspective. She is the recipient of recent First and Second Place and Best of Show awards.
J R moved to Grants Pass in 2013 from the high desert of Four Corners New Mexico.
Her involvement in art continued following the relocation, serving as president of the
Josephine County Artists Association and Chairman of the annual Spring Show
Luncheon and Critique. The April event, open to the public, invites artists to participate
by entering a fine art painting.
