My artistic imagination is captured by the various possibilities that hand-building with clay presents. The Art of Ceramics is starting with a lump of clay and how I can coax a form from that lump by coiling, slabs, pinching, impressing and stretching. Using just my hands and my well-loved tools, my goal is to make something to be enjoyed, pleasing to the eyed and the touch.
