Nomeca Hartwell works with light, aka photography. Wherever it is, whatever she is doing. Overseas or over at the coast, cruising around town or hiking in the woods, she is always taking artful photos that will emerge later as a card, or a wall print, a book cover or a Facebook story. You may have seen her race track photo on our local bus, or her Whaleshead night sky on the current Oregon Blue Book (2021-22). Any remaining free time is taken up with Pickleball and helping the city inventory its numerous public trees.
"A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not a work of art.”
