Cherri Van Syoc
Born in Los Angeles and moved to Grants Pass in 1975. I’ve been honing my artistic skills since 2003, though private lessons and college classes. Much of my inspiration is brought on by Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and Hilma Af Klint.
My passion is abstract art using acrylics on Yupo paper. I enjoy the beat and rhythm of jazz music and listen to it while I paint, getting lost in the movement and composition.
You may have seen my paintings in shows at The Grants Pass Museum of Arts, Gallery One and Rogue Gallery in Medford.
