Judy Crum
I fell in love with art at a very early age. As I grew older and started a family and life got in the way, I stopped for a while. Eventually I went back to college and got my degree as an elementary educator. Art was always on my horizon and gave me the opportunity to bring it into my classroom.
I am very passionate about education and art and have taught art to children for over 7 years now. I’ve dabbled in lots of different types of art, currently watercolor, is my media of choice. Every painting is a unique experience with watercolor, it is challenging yet rewarding.
My inspirations include daily outdoor explorations, unexpected encounters, nature, people, friends, strangers, other artists, and music. I love color and you will always find lots in my paintings. It draws the viewer in and stimulates their imagination. Different experiences and life’s events take my art in a variety of directions. Our current world events has brought out some unique inspirations and one-of- kind creations. My deep personal connection with all of my work helps me express myself in ways that nothing else can. Creating art is my outlet and for me is the most beautiful form of expression.
